Guidelines for Tree Donors

• Your decorated tree is a donation to the AMC Hospice of Shenandoah.
• Trees must be artificial.
• Your tree should reflect a holiday theme or a theme that represents an interest i.e. sports, angels, toys, children’s literature, etc.
• Each tree should have a tree skirt, tree topper and lights. (This is not necessary for miniature trees.) 
• The following items CANNOT be used for health and safety reasons: EDIBLE ITEMS, SPRAY ADHESIVES, GLITTER, CONFETTI, ARTIFICAL SNOW OR ANYTHING ELSE sprinkled loosely on a tree skirt or on the tree. This includes tossing glitter or snow onto a tree. Glitter-covered ornaments are allowed. However, all ornament preparation must be done BEFORE you deliver your tree. DO NOT plan on spraying anything at the festival site. ALL items should be wired securely to the tree, so it can be moved and transported.
• DO NOT use hot glue, staples or tape to attach anything to the floor, windows, walls, doors, etc.
• Please be prepared to take any boxes, packaging, etc. home with you. We have no storage space.
• The Facilities Planning Committee will arrange the display of the trees. When you arrive, you will be directed to set up your tree in the approximate area where it will be displayed.
• The electrical extension cords will be provided for the trees.
